  • In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, a pinch of mustard powder, cayenne powder, mustard sauce, salt, lemon juice, and water until a rich and thick sauce is prepared.
  • Keep aside the cooked lobster meat in a bowl and squeeze some fresh lemon juice along with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the slit hot dog rolls with some butter and stuff a lettuce leaf and paneer filling into them.

Garnish with some freshly cut lemon wedges and the tangy mustard sauce that will make this recipe a decadent move for your special day!

Potato Frites with Wakefield Aioli Sauce

This decadent supper recipe tastes nothing like the classic potato recipes you’ve tried nearby. The thin potato wedges are gently cooked and drenched in the flavours of the rich garlicky Aioli dip. And its crispy texture on the outside and smoky flavour on the inside make it an all-year-round recipe.

Ingredients:

For potato frites:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 pound of potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 diced bell pepper
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. fresh cilantro
  • Pepper
  • Salt to taste

For Wakefield Aioli Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 finely chopped garlic clove

Procedure:

For potato frites

  • In a saucepan, melt some butter and add finely chopped garlic to it. Cook for about 2–3 minutes until the aroma starts to release. Stir in cilantro, pepper, lemon juice, and salt. Let the mixture cook for another 8–10 minutes over low heat.
  • In a deep fryer, heat some vegetable oil (for frying) over high heat.
  • Meanwhile, pat dry the potato wedges to remove any moisture. This will avoid any splattering of oil when frying. Now, fry the wedges carefully and set aside on tissue paper to drain excess oil.
  • Add the fried wedges to the prepared butter sauce in a pan and cook generously for about 3–4 minutes.

For Wakefield Aioli Sauce

  • Blend together mayonnaise, basil, parsley, garlic, and lemon juice. Season it with salt and pepper, and let it refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Serve the fried potato wedges layered with buttery potato wedges and drizzle with the spiced Aioli sauce. Garnish with sliced bell peppers, lemon wedges, and fresh cilantro. Top it off with some more Aioli and get ready for more compliments.

Takeaway

Add a touch of extravagance to your birthday celebration with these killer recipes that will make the occasion truly unforgettable. From the succulent paneer rolls drenched in garlic butter to decadent potato frites with Aioli, every recipe assures to delight you truly.
