As a father you can play indoor games with your child such as Ludo, Chess etc. Moreover you can teach him the benefits of cleanliness. Do room decors and cleanliness of your house with your child. It will inculcate good habits in your child and your child will learn sharing and caring. Also you can indulge in fun activities with your child such as doing art and craft, painting, colouring etc.

Well it depends on the age of Kid. If your kid is from age 3-5 years than activities must be related to cognitive and motor skill. If kid age is from 6-10 years than activities must involve some science and fun. While going through youtube I found a youtube channel ( Drona Aatrey), on which activities related to kids are done by kid himself. Channel has acrtivities like:

1. Magic Pendulum

2. To bring moon on my Table.

It also has informative videos. Kids can get prepared for Public Speaking. I like the theme of channel.

Surely you will get activities there to keep your kid occupied for quiet sometime.
