Hi there,'

According to me it is really important for kids, specially for teenagers, to follow & adhere to a strict routine throughout the day. This is a age timeline, where new habits are formed which seems to continue throughout their life. If they doesnot follow a regime, they may get involved into bad habits which will hinder their development, morale & career growth in the long run.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes..

It is always advisable for everyone (not only teenagers) to follow a certain routine of early to bed and early to rise. It helps in the proper functioning of the body and keeps you alert for the whole day. Yes, parents should expect their teen children to follow a routine of going to bed and waking up in the morning, but parents should not be strict enough in fulfilling their expectations. Some people tend to work and learn better at night. In that case, there should be enough freedom, so they make their decisions on their own. But, everything should be under control. Excess of anything is bad. So, late to bed and late to right notion should not always be allowed. It deteriorates the functioning of the body in the long run.

It is good to follow proper routine in life but at this age parents should not expect a strict bedtime and morning rountine because now a days, education has become tough and there are lots of assignments and projects that children need to complete them. Sometimes, children do their assignments till midnight also. So, it's okay if they are utilising their time and doing hardwork. But parents should also check them if they are utilising it or just wasting their time.

That's All folks
