Child Labour refers to the work that is harmful to children and is dangerous to their physical and mental health.
Generally child labourers suffer to long term health problems due to malnutrition, exposure to chemicals, abuse, injuries and psychological harm. It depends on the industry they are working in.
In mining, children work with poisnous chemicals and explosives, face the risk of mine collapse.
In agriculture, children work with harmful pesticides or fertilisers which might not be good for their health and skin.
In construction, they carry very heavy loads and work on even heights without propery safety measures.
In domestic area which is very common if we observe our surroundings, they usually face abuse, injuries, long work hours, and also they have to live in isolation far away from their families and friends which ultimately lead them to depression or serious mental illness.
Additionally, a child who works will not be able to have a normal education and will be doomed to become an illiterate adult, having no possibility to grow in his or her professional and social life.
